milkystep
milkystep is shortened from milky and lyricalstep. milky is Adeline's nickname and lyricalstep is Joceline's nickname :)
Lineart is made by Adeline and the coloring is done by Joceline. We use tablet and Adobe photoshop CS mostly to create our graphics.
One graphic needs approximately 1 hour for the lineart and 3-5 hours for the coloring. We use brush tool almost all the time, 2px for human and objects; 1px for background.
Hands and fingers are not really difficult to draw if you have a model to pose for you.
Some useful tips from us:
have someone to pose for you! it really helps to prevent awkward pose of human drawings.
background and objects are to be drawn based on observations or photographs.It helps to make your drawings more realistic.
try to look up for the latest fashion. people don't want out-dated kind of clothes.
ALWAYS remember to put on your watermark! you don't want people to steal your graphics right? :)
